Château La Clariere Laithwaite Blanc 2017
Since its first vintage in 1984, Château La Clarière Laithwaite has been hailed as “the leading estate in Côtes de Castillon” by Decanter and has won over 100 awards (including the exclusive Le Prix d’Excellence, which is given to just 12 estates in France and only one in Bordeaux). The château’s flagship red earns major acclaim every vintage and is a BIG favorite of our customers too. So, we’re thrilled to introduce the first-ever white edition.
Château La Clarière Laithwaite Blanc hails from Bordeaux’s 2017 vintage, which produced “outstanding quality wines that will deliver beautiful drinking for years ahead” – the whites, in particular, “are very beautiful,” writes critic James Suckling. Given the estate’s reputation and the quality of the vintage, it should come as no surprise that this elegant white has already won two coveted gold medals from top competitions.
An equal marriage of Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris, Château La Clarière Laithwaite Blanc brims with ripe, tropical- and citrus-fruit aromas, complex mineral notes, and a pleasantly rounded palate. Though enjoyable as an aperitif, this will really shine alongside fresh seafood or roasted chicken or pork.
Considering the popularity of its red sister, we expect this acclaimed white Bordeaux to sell out quickly. Secure your share now.
